It was a very, very hard decision to make in whether to have Rin Tin Dennis cut off Hyde's arm. This is probably the most violent PoL will ever be, as I am not a fan of dismemberment AT ALL. In the end, I decided 'yes'; Hyde needed to hurt. In these cases, most action-oriented media would just have the character drop a badass line and keep on fighting, usually resulting in victory. Real people wouldn't be able to do so after being so seriously injured, and so we see Hyde in shock. I really wanted to convey the notion that for all his worth, Hyde is not without fears or doubts.
